Overview

A software tool used for preparing and mailing international address data. It uses the Atlas International Locality File.

The input addresses are broken down into their component parts, allowing the storage of specific data in named fields, e.g. Paris in the town field. It produces where known the national version, e.g. Firenze not Florence, Mr, Herr, Monsieur and formats the address label defined by the relevant country.

  • Allocates, confirms and/or corrects postcodes that relate to localities on the Hopewiser International Locality File.

  • Generates name and address match keys which will standardise the input data by catering for diacritical characters or different languages for data such as titles and post boxes etc.

  • Characters including diacritical characters that are input will be output in the parsed and mailing address fields.

  • Produces activity and error/correction reports.

  • Generates a mailing address to comply with country specific Postal, Telephone and Telegraph (PTT) requirements.

  • Presents the parsed components, match keys and mailing address to the user for storing in a database, printing or deduplication.
