INFORMATION ABOUT THE DATASET
Hopewiser create two Master Address Files from the Companies House data.
One being purely Companies House data, which is a file consisting of registered company addresses with the non-address information held as extra-data. The second is a merged file where we match the registered company addresses from the Companies House data with those held on the Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF).
Where we find a match, we supplement the Royal Mail PAF with additional companies from the Companies House data. For this blended Master Address File, the same extra-data is used as per the first Master Address File.
Both datasets undergo a bespoke enhancement process to ensure the highest level of quality control.
Both offerings include access to the same non-address data items, including:
Previous company names
