Vacancy - Front End Developer

Hopewiser Limited has a vacancy for a Front End Developer. The role will focus on a small number of key products with room to develop existing skills and grow into different areas.


• Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Sencha Ext JS)
• Minimum of 2 years experience

Desired Skills

• Additional experience in Java, Spring framework, CSS, SQL, REST, SOAP, Server side languages (PHP, ASP. HTML, etc)
• Extensive scripting language experience
• Usage of version control tools
• Effective debugging methods
• Full development life-cycle experience
• A pragmatic approach to QA/Testing
• The ability to document their work thoroughly and effectively

Hopewiser offer

• Starting salary of £30,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
• Full time role, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30
• 20 days annual leave, plus an additional day for birthday and public holidays. Annual leave increasing by 1 day per year after 5 years, up to a maximum of 30 days

• Current working practise is a hybrid model with a mixture of office based working and working from home (with guidance from the government)
◦ Office based working 2 days per week
◦ Office based working with flexible working, +/- 1 hour start / end time, with 8.5 hours to be worked per day (inclusive of 1 hour for lunch). For example 9am to 5:30pm, 8am to 4:30pm or 10am to 6:30pm
