High Street Bank Case Study

Background

The Retail Bank has been a customer of Hopewiser’s for the last 15 years. So when the Bank decided to look for an alternative Address Lookup solution for one of its departments, it made sense to include Hopewiser in the selection process.

Situation

The Bank was looking for an online solution, which would give the flexibility and scalability to ramp up the service to their SME and Mortgage & Savings customers.

Using an online service means they have fast access to pay-per-lookup tools with no external set up fees and no ongoing maintenance.  Plus access to APIs and plug-ins for easy integration into their CRM systems.

The Solution

The Retail Bank found Hopewiser’s proposal more compelling than the other potential suppliers. They were impressed with the Address Lookup solution and the commercial offering. Following a full review of the submission and the business requirements, Hopewiser was chosen as the supplier.

The project manager commented that the tool itself shows great promise and is a fantastic step forward for the Retail Bank.

The Bank integrated the service into their CRM solution, using Hopewiser’s Salesforce plug-in. This means users can quickly capture and validate an accurate and complete address from either a postcode or partial address, and place within the Salesforce platform.

The plug-in integrates seamlessly into both Classic and Lightning Salesforce modes and contains static resources, Visualforce pages and the Find Address buttons. It operates at all address entry points, ensuring a consistent method of address capture throughout the Salesforce platform. It has a user-friendly interface, which is cross-browser compatible.

SME, Mortgage and Savings Platforms

The Salesforce Address Lookup solution is powered by the Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF) which is updated daily ensuring validation against the most up-to-date Royal Mail data.

The Bank is able to buy as much or as little as they need, depending on requirements and also have the option to auto-renew, meaning they will never have down time due to running out of lookups.

The Result

A test account was set up, enabling the bank to test the environment fully before live date.
