Calling All Royalists!

Hopewiser cordially invites you to celebrate the marriage of HRH Prince Harry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle on Saturday 19th May 2018. The couple are to be wed at St George's Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle, where Prince Harry was christened, with the ceremony starting at 12pm sharp. Television coverage will kick-off at around 9am through various broadcasters such as the BBC, Sky News, and ITV.

Whilst there has been much speculation about whether the bride's father, Thomas Markle, will actually attend the wedding to give his daughter away in the aftermath of  alleged staged paparazzi shoots and more recently heart surgery, you can rest assured that we at Hopewiser intend to get each and every one of you there to witness this moment in history. And although we sadly cannot grant you access to the private reception at Frogmore House, you will all no doubt be enjoying your own celebrations by that point!

For those of you who wish to venture away from your own TV to watch the wedding, there are numerous locations throughout the UK broadcasting the event on the big screens along with various celebrations and offers to make this day just as special for you as it will be for the royal couple. All you need to do is download our Find Your Nearest app, Proximity, and we'll take care of the rest.

If you don't fancy the heaving crowds in Windsor, there are plenty of venues "up north" that will be glad to accommodate. Here are just a few hotspots where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the day with a glass of bubbly (or two) in hand:

Manchester

Cloud 23 at the Hilton in Manchester City Centre sounds by far the most elegant way to celebrate the day. The Manchester Evening News states that guests will be able to enjoy a "breakfast fit for a prince" whilst watching live coverage of the event on a big screen from 10am. As the celebrations move into the afternoon, a Royal afternoon tea will be served with a best of British twist priced at £45 with complimentary champagne.

303 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LQ / cloud23bar.com / 0161 870 1670 / Saturday May 19, from 10am / £35 to £45, booking advised*

A similar style celebration will be held at the Great John Street boutique hotel in Manchester City Centre, with a rooftop street party consisting of champagne and afternoon tea, before guests are invited to sit down and watch the events in Windsor unfold.

Great John Street, Manchester, M3 4FD / Saturday May 19, noon to 4pm / 0161 831 3211 / Tickets £40 from Eventbrite*

Navigating down towards the midlands there are even more events being held in honour of this great day. Whilst Birmingham City Council do not have any plans to screen the wedding in the city centre, people are welcome to enjoy the screening in style at Eden Bar's Royal Wedding party. Everyone is welcome and according to Birmingham Live, guests are invited to "wear red, white and blue - with a prize for the best dressed royal."

116 Sherlock Street, Birmingham, B5 6NB / www.theedenbar.co.uk/ 0121 622 1953 / Saturday May 19 from 12pm**

Just outside of Birmingham there will be a screening of the wedding at Stoke St Michael's Church where people are invited to bring their own food to share a Royal Wedding picnic.

Moor Street, Birmingham, B4 7UG / 0121 643 0940

Cambridge Market

Heading back down south and for a less informal way to spend the day, fans will be able to enjoy a patriotic street party in Cambridge's Market Square with food and pop-up stores in abundance. And of course, a big screen in which to view the ceremony. However, be warned that this venue fills up quickly and Cambridge News recommends arriving early and to bring portable chairs where possible.

St Edwards Passage, Cambridge, CB2 3PJ
