This role will report to the Accounts Team Leader. Salary dependent on experience within the range £25-£30K plus car allowance and commission (uncapped).

The hours of work are 0900 to 1730 Monday to Friday, however the account manager will be expected to arrange appointments at the convenience of the client which will necessitate early starts and late home arrivals on occasion. As the role is office based and Hopewiser clients are UK wide there will be overnight stays in some cases. The company will provide reasonable expenses to cover subsistence and travel. The Company will expect that if an overnight stay is required that more than one visit is arranged to maximise travel time.

The company provides 28 days annual leave which includes 8 Public Holidays. The amount of annual leave will rise after 5 years to a maximum of 30 days + 8 Public Holidays.

Hopewiser have two Pension Schemes, a SIPP scheme open to all employees after 2 years service and the mandatory Government auto enrol scheme for all other employees.

The Role

All account development managers will be given a portfolio of customer accounts which will be increased during the year as new sales are added.

All accounts must be visited at least once a year, tier 1 and 2 customers more regularly. All customers must be contacted on a regular basis.

The aim of an account manager is to develop a professional relationship with all their accounts so that they are aware of any developments within each organisation and can promote Hopewiser products and services for any future developments.

There will also be a retention target, since retaining clients is a key to growth.

Duties

To promote Hopewiser products and services within their portfolio of customers. Each account manager will be responsible for contacting their customer base and to arrange visits if possible on a geographical basis to maximise the account managers time.

To meet with customers according to targets agreed within the Sales Plan.

To maintain performance against KPI's detailed in the Sales Plan. This will include, but not be limited to, Sales Target Values, number of visits, marketing campaigns.

To complete any required administration in a timely fashion. This will include visit reports, updating the CRM system with new contacts, addresses, etc., evaluation requests for customers as well as sales proposals and orders.

To liaise with Marketing to plan marketing campaigns to promote new products/services or changes within the products set or new regulations.

To represent Hopewiser in the manner prescribed by the Directors and to the benefit of the Company at all times.

To become and remain conversant with all Company products and services and be able to demonstrate Company products when required.

To liaise with the Technical teams whenever necessary and keep them informed of customer requirements/future plans.

To adhere to Company standards at all times and for all aspects of work, including time keeping, appearance and behaviour.

To communicate any problems/concerns about any of the portfolio to the Line Manager as soon as possible.
