The Hopewiser Address File Load solution is designed to handle most format files and can handle the character sets for many languages. The retrieval mechanism is impervious to the content and will match and return data as given.

Users of International Data need to be aware that no single solution can exist in the marketplace to satisfy 'global' data access. There is no simple mechanism to enter the diacritical characters specific to the data from a keyboard manufactured for a different language, e.g. ö cannot be entered from an English Language keyboard.

Data storage may be arranged via the use of a suitable Unicode character set e.g. UTF8 but the limitation remains the entry of data from a known keyboard structure. Note that many computer systems may not necessarily support such character sets either.

Hopewiser are intent on supplying quality solutions and to prevent any misunderstandings are capable of storing the data in its native form or to load it in an anglicised form for use from within the UK market. If there is an interest in the use of International Data then we would recommend a meeting to discuss the full requirement and the mechanisms to be employed.

The use of Rapid Address Entry using the postcode remains specific to Canada and UK. Zipcode entry can be employed in the USA although the full Zip plus 4 will be required to make the system efficient.

For other countries the term Rapid Addressing tends to apply to abbreviated address input and picklist selections. Thus it cannot be deemed as truly rapid entry. Hopewiser have pioneered their own solution to the abbreviated addressing which allows the user entry of 10 to 12 characters thus speeding the keying process considerably.
