Address Loader is a revolutionary addressing tool which combines data cleansing, master file creation and DTF creation to create a central control for database manipulation.
1. Data Cleansing
Address Loader can call upon any of the addressing tools within the Atlas Suite direct from the user interface. The Atlas suite is designed for the cleaning of address files, deduplication and formatting for matching, correcting and enhancing virtually any database of address records against a detailed master file such as PAF, Address Point or LLPG/NLPG.
A selection of Atlas suite management components includes:

MAF Build
MAF (Master Address File) is a set of files, which can be used with other Hopewiser products to base future address matching against.
The MAF build allows the creation of a master file tailored to the users specifications.
This is achieved by using the following processes:
Processes 1 and 2 combine to create an address file.
Processes 3 and 4 takes this address file and create a set of master address files for use in Atlas Suite.

Street MAF Build
The Street MAF files are a set of files, which can be incorporated with other Hopewiser products to base future matching against at street level.
The Street MAF build allows creation of a master file tailored to the user's specifications.
The Street Build process uses the programmes within the ‘Load’ process to generate a set of MAF files that are based on street level.
The Town and District build creates user specified Town and District files, including adding specific misspellings this allows the product to 'learn' about problems specific to the user.
3. DTF Creation and Maintenance
DTF Creation
The ‘Record Creator’ generates NLPG records, which are compliant with Data Transfer Format (DTF) 6.3
Records created:
DTF_Edit allows the user to make decisions on LPI’s where alternative LPI’s are available.

The DTFDiff process is used to maintain and update DTF files. It compares the records from an old DTF file against a new DTF file and generates a series of Change Only Update files based on the differences.

Scripts
The script wizard allows updating and maintenance of NLPG/LLPG/DTF and other databases through the use of various scripts. Scripts can be tailored specifically to the user's needs and added to the appropriate files. Output files can be viewed without leaving the Address Loader interface. |
